Thank you to everyone who has been following and reading my poems! I started this blog five years ago, not knowing how to write a poem and with the intention of writing song lyrics instead. lonely, long and difficult
for the pearl that makes the shell
like a bathtub in an ocean
full of distractions and
interruptions
and so full of doubt
that opportunity
actually seeps in

violins croon with the crows
oh, there’s sadness in the crimson
and the whitest whites i’ve ever known
a golden moon of a muse dances
but she’s light years ahead
hiding in waves of the violet hour
where i can’t go just yet
all the freckles of the city are alive
while ruby and sapphire of the violet hour
say farewell to the seas and houses
leaving last letters, last words
hearts drawn across weather
we all wear crowns of a tower
and across the ever caving echoes,
we’ll meet again at the violet hour
