refuse
Posted: October 20, 2014 Filed under: poetry Leave a commentI refuse to be a sheep in the flock
To seek consolation
From found constellations in a coffee cup;
To be a square
By the means of a shameless self-portrait
And reading the news,
Blindly following
Untruths
When it’s all refuse.

in our blood and in the air
an overarching rim,
a crest and a ram
rests an oath, to bind, our aim

magnificent

Of a team
Out from their cage
And winning the game
And by the looks of their face
Anyone could tell it was more than fate
Maybe it’s all finite
But brave and tame
How they sparkle like mint
Heroes, all magnificent

sometimes i forget
Posted: October 7, 2014 Filed under: poetry Leave a commentsometimes i forget
to look out the window
but then i go outside
and pink clouds of wonder,
over the lake
tell me so
telling me, I know, I KNOW
WHO, WHY and YES
